Shake It......Again

Here are some more Shake It photos taken exclusively from my iPhone. They are all taken at different times at different places so they are merely a random assortment of pictures that have no connected quality at all.

Teapot

I made a teapot. It was made out of clay with the slab method (just to be technical). I also found out that you can use vinegar instead of slip so I decided to try that out (it works well). The objects I sculpted onto it were not planned or related in any way but now I feel like the teapot demonstrates the absurdity and childishness of violence. I see this with the whimsy in the tongues and the violence depicted through, the soon to be, brass knuckles.  I think I will paint it/ glaze it in a way that emulates that idea. Also, I plan on having it stand on something war like but I'm not sure yet; however, I want the structure to be made from metal or look like metal. I will post more pictures when its complete.
