Mon-e

I made this thing out of one dollar bills and fishing line. I put this thing on a lamp and it made a sculpture and it took ten-ish minutes to make. It obviously not my most favorite work but it will do. This could either be a cool photography piece or a cool sculpture; you decide. Either way the name will be "Mon-e".

iPhone: Shake It

I saw some really cool work by Mark Leet where he took a bunch of amazing photos with an iPhone camera (specifically, "Shake It" which converts photos into Polaroids). I tried it out for myself and I found that the colors are much richer and the light seems to become more contrasted; this is what I came up with:

"Herbert"

"Painter: Enter Here"

Self Portraits

Last night, I could barely sleep for some reason, so I made a sculpture out of aluminum wire. The sculpture was a piece that was an amorphous thing that really couldn't stand on its own, so I decided to use it for a photography piece instead as a sculpture. I thought it could really interesting to use it for a self portrait and this it what my camera came up with:

I just put all of them on here because I could easily change them if I want to but some are a little too blurry for me. It seems to focus on the ideas surrounding entrapment-- at least, that's what I just decided. I think I could edit them if i wanted to use them but its going to be a lot of work.

House (Breadth 1)

House
Popsicle Sticks; Aluminum; Acrylic Medium; Hot Glue; (and love...just kidding....there is no love -__-)
I don't know the actual size of this thing so lets just say its the size of two heads

This is a house I made out of Popsicle sticks that are held together with hot glue and I covered it in a acrylic molding paste so the hot glue is no longer ruining visual aesthetic of this thing. Also, I decided to activate the space by using a long sheet of aluminum to make it more "AP-ish." Lets just say that this is conceptual for the hell of it; it could make things interesting. I think that I can still work on it but it depends on the time I have.
